This Diptyque composition is a wonderful example of the marriage of two varieties of vetiver. The first, originating from Haiti, is lightly powdery, pale green and gives a sense of cleanliness. Side by side, its counterpart from the other side of the world, Indonesia, is placed. This variety evokes the scent of wet soil, wood and contains a light smoky undertone. Skillfully combined with citrus at the beginning, they are even more united thanks to the slightly herbal, sharp geranium. Adding a slightly burning aroma of spices: cloves and nutmeg, we get an almost perfect image. The drop that makes it perfect is rose. Rich, sharp, but balanced, it complements the message of the outstanding perfumer Olivier Pescheux.

About the brand Diptyque

The history began in 1961, when three friends - Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Gautrot and Yves Coueslant - opened a boutique on the Saint Germain boulevard in Paris.
