Description

The true revolution among rose scents. The scent of Cinabre conjures up the rose, thanks to its breakthrough formula.
The combination of essences of Moroccan rose splendens, May rose absolute and pure vanilla is an attempt to recreate the magical scent of the ancient splendens roses from Ayrshire County, known for their unique and extremely rare myrrh note.

In Rome, there is a gate called Piazza Vittorio. It is one of the entrances to Villa Palombara, where Marquis Massimiliano organized strictly secret, elite meetings of alchemy enthusiasts. You can still read the inscription on the door: "seeds from which our flowers bloomed cannot be bought at the market". This means that alchemy is the domain of the chosen ones.
The same door also bears the inscription: "the Hesperian dragon hid at the gates of the magical garden". This dragon was painted next to a huge dragon tree, also known as the dragon tree.
The special feature of this tree is its sap, which changes color upon contact with the skin. It becomes red, hence the name: dragon's blood or Cinabre.

The scent of Cinabre was created based on ancient knowledge. Already in the Middle Ages, Cinabre was a very valuable material sought after by sorcerers and alchemists.

About the brand Maria Candida Gentile

Maria Candida graduated from the prestigious perfumery school in Grasse. She is close to the philosophy of slow factory, and uses only the best natural ingredients in her compositions, often sourced from small, organic farms. She creates honest, "personal" scents, in contrast to the mainstream. Each one tells a different story.

"My first memory is related to roses from my family's garden. When they were in bloom, I would gather the petals and make my own rose water, which I would then pour into bottles and give to my family. As I grew up, it became clear to me that creating perfumes is the passion of my life. I believe that a good scent is one that works well for the person wearing it. This effect can only be achieved with natural essences that speak to our body and mind, and that we instinctively love," she says.

Reviews of Cinabre

The scent starts fiery - with pink and black pepper and ginger. When this flame weakens, the rose heart note opens up, making Cinabre quite powdery. Vanilla and benzoin contrast with this powdery note, but after the spicy opening, Cinabre became mainly a rose scent on my skin. I think I would prefer a bit more fire, but the rose is beautiful and will appeal to those of you who love it.
