About the brand Maria Candida Gentile
Maria Candida graduated from the prestigious perfumery school in Grasse. She is close to the philosophy of slow factory, and uses only the best natural ingredients in her compositions, often sourced from small, organic farms. She creates honest, "personal" scents, in contrast to the mainstream. Each one tells a different story.
"My first memory is related to roses from my family's garden. When they were in bloom, I would gather the petals and make my own rose water, which I would then pour into bottles and give to my family. As I grew up, it became clear to me that creating perfumes is the passion of my life. I believe that a good scent is one that works well for the person wearing it. This effect can only be achieved with natural essences that speak to our body and mind, and that we instinctively love," she says.
Reviews of Syconium
Tasty notes emerge from the molasses just in time to make room for the ripe fig. When the fig and beeswax almost blend together, one might get the impression that Synconium becomes a decadent fig tart. It lingers there for a while, until the delicate sandalwood becomes the final addition. Synconium is a fig gourmand - delicious and dry.
