These perfumes explore the complex relationships between Great Britain and other nations, as well as its dominant position in international maritime trade throughout the centuries. This intoxicating, narcotic scent provokes and seduces.
The key notes here are the cargoes once carried by British ships, which bring to mind the words of George Bernard Shaw: "Tea, tobacco, opium, whisky, and religion provide a man with emotional excitement."

About the brand Beaufort
The brand was created by musician and writer Leo Crabtree, who has been fascinated by scents and the dark side of British history throughout his life. These two currents are the driving force behind the entire collection. As he says: "The sea, its traditions and superstitions, and the associated lifestyle - all of this is a part of me. The name comes from the 1805 scale of wind strength and serves as a structure within which we try to express ourselves as a brand."
Beaufort fragrances are created in close collaboration with the most distinguished British perfumers and are meant to reflect the collective national subconscious. For example, Iron Duke was created in honor of Arthur Wellesley - the Duke of Wellington, a rider, soldier, politician, and avid lover of tailoring. It is built on notes of leather, tobacco, rum, and... gunpowder.
Reviews of Vi Et Armis
Do not hesitate to wear Vi et Armis in the summer, when the notes of tea and opium bloom in the heat. However, we cannot wait for lower temperatures, when strong base notes - oud and tobacco - will warm up the gloomy winter reality. This is currently our favorite from the collection, which, despite a nod towards men, is also a fragrance for confident women.
