Description
From the beginning of the brand's existence, Escentric Molecules fragrances have been introduced to the market in pairs. Keeping to this pattern, Molecule 05, a pure, unique molecule, walks hand in hand with Escentric 05 - a complex composition based on the same molecule.
Imagine being on a sun-drenched island. The rustling breeze, cicadas, fruits ripe with sweetness and fresh herbs at your fingertips, salt settling on warm skin. Based on the mentioned cashmere, Escentric 05 embodies this vision. The top notes have an exceptionally simple structure: radiant bergamot and tangerine, which evoke positive emotions, joy, and a cheerful spirit. Then laurel and rosemary, lending a herbal tone to the composition, sage, and cypress with a particularly dry, biting aroma. The base contains two classic Mediterranean ingredients: labdanum and mastic. Mastic is resin from a small tree that often grows close to the sea. It has a sharp, clean scent of freshly cut twigs. Labdanum, from which sticky, leathery labdanum is obtained, is in turn a small shrub found in almost the entire Mediterranean basin. The whole is complemented by figs - both the bitterness of the leaves and the abundance of ripe fruits - which according to Schön, determine the authenticity of the scent.

About the brand Escentric Molecules
Escentric Molecules owes its existence to a scent that does not exist in nature, and which in the 1970s was used to enhance and fix compositions. It smells rather warm and woody, and sometimes not at all, because its scent changes depending on the environment, temperature, and substrate. The founder of the brand, Geza Schoen, recalls when he first smelled the isolated Iso E Super: "I understood that the common denominator of all the scents I liked was that they contained a large dose of Iso E Super. You can never have enough of it. It's like a drug or an aphrodisiac."
He first started experimenting, increasing the doses until he finally created a scent containing only the pure molecule. This is how the legendary Molecule 01 was born, which smells completely different on everyone - supposedly like the pheromones of the person wearing it.
Reviews of Escentric 05
The top note of Escentric 05 is very simple: it is bergamot, which allows the fragrance to maintain its lightness, and orange, an ingredient that carries emotions: it is bright and joyful. It brings to mind orange groves on the Mediterranean island where I spent many summers.
