Maria Candida created this fragrance during her trip to the Lenkoran National Park, located near the border of Azerbaijan and Iran. As some claim, this magical and mystical place fascinated Alexander the Great to such an extent that he declared it a protected area.

The Lankaran Forest is a combination of the scent of "iron trees", which have an incredible ability to heal each other during illness, with musk and the diversity of flowers in the forest understory, as well as the black tea and citrus fruits grown in Lenkoran.

Maria Candida graduated from the prestigious perfumery school in Grasse. She is close to the philosophy of slow factory, and uses only the best natural ingredients in her compositions, often sourced from small, organic farms. "My first memory is related to roses from my family's garden. When they were in bloom, I would gather the petals and make my own rose water, which I would then pour into bottles and give to my family. As I grew up, it became clear to me that creating perfumes is the passion of my life. I believe that a good scent is one that works well for the person wearing it. This effect can only be achieved with natural essences that speak to our body and mind, and that we instinctively love," she says.
