Description

Calone, a molecule discovered by chemists from Pfizer in 1965 during research on sedatives, turned out to be more effective when inhaled. Its scent, green and reminiscent of sea breeze and melons, is so distinct that it took perfumers over twenty years to fully utilize its potential. It became an inspiration for creating the most iconic fragrance family of the '90s: aquatic scents. Calone became a victim of its own success and was not used for almost twenty years. By creating fluo_ral, Nathalie Feisthauer introduced this molecule into a radically different context.

In the '90s, the Calone molecule was used in crystal-clear, watery fragrance compositions. Currently, Nathalie Feisthauer further increases its transparency by emphasizing its green notes, so bright that they fluoresce. Rhubarb, blackcurrant buds, and tomato leaf intensify the plant aromas of the moonlit coastal jungle and the magical glow of bioluminescent plankton, coloring the waves in indigo. Then the composition sinks into the ink-black depths of Somali incense, whose metallic character adds a salty note and a cool glow to Calone. Among the distinct, strongly outlined contrasts, this molecule evolves and gains new life. It is a marine scent like we have never known before.

About the brand Nomenclature

New York's absolutely futuristic answer to the traditional approach to creating perfumes. Its secret lies in exclusive, synthetic molecules and advanced biotechnology. Each of the brand's fragrances consists of only a few notes, yet it is incredibly multidimensional and crystal clear. These compositions will appeal to fans of "synthetics".

The duo of perfumers Karl Bradl and Carlos Quintero signs all the compositions.
