In 1966, a documentary film called "Endless Summer" was released about the pursuit of two American surfers for the perfect wave. One would like to jump with them from one time zone to another, so that summer never ends.
From their perspective, the whole Earth is one big beach, where people who love freedom come together.
This gave rise to the trend of "Gypset" (a combination of the words Gypsy - bohemian - and Jet Setter - cosmopolitan) and trips to Montauk. You can disconnect from the world there and enjoy both the untouched nature and the friendly luxury environment. You can meditate, breathe deeply, and spend time in a pleasant way.
