Fragrances inspired by the famous New York gallery founded by Peggy Guggenheim (The Art of This Century gallery), its decor (characteristic curved wooden walls), and the favorite whiskey of the art collector.
J.Crew No. 57 is a warm, enveloping, spicy-woody scent. A surprising composition with a modern character, suitable for both women and men. It evokes the scent of original oak walls of the gallery and the aroma of cocktails that filled the space during the groundbreaking, first-ever all-female exhibition in the history of the USA in 1943, when Peggy Guggenheim showcased works by 31 female artists.
Aged whiskey, cedar and oak wood blend with cinnamon bark, labdanum and vanilla beans, creating an unexpected, all-encompassing fragrance that captures the atmosphere of the gallery and the courage of the female artists.
