Scent of rebellion.
In the foreground, a pure, flawless, modern, uncompromising and emotional interpretation of rose captivates. It is combined with a unique extract of Nepalese pepper, Bourbon geranium and blackcurrant notes, giving the whole a fresh and spicy character.
But the real storm rages underneath. Vetiver and cedar create an earthy base along with dark, mysterious leather and a hint of IsoButyl Quinoline - evoking its extraordinary, bitter scent that has been forgotten since the bold aromas of the jazz era.
Above this clearly floral composition, both dazzling and concrete, hovers a theatrical, sensually uncontrollable sensuality.
- HEAD NOTES: geranium, blackcurrant, Bourbon geranium
- HEART NOTES: vetiver, cedar
- BASE NOTES: leather accord

About the brand Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle
How can one create exceptional perfumes in today's world dominated by intrusive advertising? Frederic Malle believes that the key to success is allowing creators the same freedom and independence that existed in the profession several decades ago. This lack of limitations has resulted in many old scents still being considered icons of perfumery. That's why Malle gives perfumers a free hand and strives to remove any obstacles that may hinder the process of uninhibited creation. He tells them to create their dream scent without being limited by budget, tastes, or marketing briefs. The result? Mistaking this brand's creations for commercial perfumes is simply impossible.
Each composition comes in the same packaging - a cylindrical bottle with a black cap, which has become the signature of the French brand.

Reviews of Rose & Cuir
Not a single person I gave Rose & Cuir to smell mentioned that they could smell rose. I definitely detect a rose note in geranium, but Rose & Cuir doesn't scream at me: "Rose!". Perhaps these are perfumes with a "rose" scent that will be enjoyed by both rose haters and lovers.
