Ambra - a mythical ingredient in perfumes, as precious as gold. Used by Egyptians as incense, and by Chinese as an aphrodisiac. Its unique scent is both delicate and enchantingly warm, with a subtle hint of wood and leather.
Originally, grey amber (ambergris) was one of the few animal-derived ingredients used in perfumery. It is considered one of the most noble ingredients in perfumes, and also one of the rarest. Today, natural amber is no longer used in perfumery. Perfumers had to rediscover this extraordinary scent - each new interpretation is the result of a unique combination of precious ingredients, as well as a reflection of the talent and sensitivity of the creator.
In the new Diptyque candle, Amber becomes enveloping, warm, woody, and slightly leathery. Vetiver and patchouli give it warmth and richness, creating a unique texture. Mysterious, noble, and captivating. Incense, labdanum, and tonka bean create a unique signature of Amber in Diptyque's interpretation.
Each Diptyque candle is created in a twelve-step, handmade process and has its own unique composition of waxes, making them the best scented candles in the world.
190 g - up to 60 hours of burning time
- The candle should be burned for at least one hour until all the wax on the surface becomes liquid.
- The candle will burn nicely and cleanly until the end if you trim the wick to 1/4 of its length after each burning - this will ensure longer burning and prevent soot after extinguishing.
- If necessary, place the candle wick back in the center.
- Do not place the candle on a glass or marble surface.

About the brand Diptyque
The history began in 1961, when three friends - Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Gautrot and Yves Coueslant - opened a boutique on the Saint Germain boulevard in Paris. Initially, they sold fabrics, beautiful objects and souvenirs brought from exotic travels. Two years later, they presented their first candle with the scent of hawthorn, and in 1968 their first eau de toilette - L'Eau.
Diptyque masterfully keeps up with ever-changing scent trends, while maintaining its DNA. Olivier Pescheux, one of the most famous contemporary "noses", emphasizes their characteristic feature, which is the unconventional aromatic combinations. One element is always added to the composition, seemingly deviating from the rest, but in reality deepening the experience. In L'Eau, inspired by 16th century potpourri blends, it was ginger. In turn, in the bestselling Do Son, a hypnotic blend of tuberose and jasmine is joined by a vibrant sea accord.
But diptyque is not just fragrances in the form of perfumes or eau de toilettes. It is also world-renowned candles, aromatic care products, home accessories and trinkets that bring great joy. It is limited editions and holiday collections that we wait for all year round.

Opinions about Ambre
Woody, earthy, floral, spicy. It is the opposite of Coco Chanel's maxim - she wanted us to take something off before going out, Into the Gloss definitely adds something to us when we stay at home.
Into The Gloss, Into The Gloss
You probably have an image of amber scent in your head. Forget about it because this one is different from all. Spicy, resinous, earthy scent of Ambre based on incense-like notes fills the room, even when this charming candle is not lit.
