Nights spent not just anywhere, but at 7 Rue du Bourg l'Abbé, a place that has been on the map of Paris since 1885, first functioning as elegant baths used by Monet, Renoir, Zola, and Proust; later a legendary nightclub where David Bowie, Prince, Grace Jones, and Vanessa Paradis regularly partied, and where Joy Division played their only concert in France; and finally as a five-star boutique hotel. The collection is divided into two lines: Une date, une histoire, which refers to specific events located in time (hence the year in the name), and Formes et Matières, which pays tribute to the shapes, patterns, and textures found at 7 Rue du Bourg l'Abbé.
