Floral-fruit candle, designed to evoke the atmosphere of early morning in Lisbon. The fragrance was created by Suzy Le Helley for D'Orsay.

The combination of Laëtitia Rouget's playful ceramics and D'ORSAY's olfactory vision allows us to see love in a different light. Three scented candles transport us directly to Laetitia's beloved country - Portugal.

The sunny, refreshing notes bring to mind the enchanting aromas of mandarin, neroli, and fig, providing a romantic, poetic, and surprising experience.

The ceramic containers in which the candles are enclosed are reusable, and the pattern is revealed after the wax is completely consumed.

How to use

When using for the first time, burn the candle until its entire surface becomes liquid. This will take about 4 hours. This way you will prevent the tunneling effect of the candle - the formation of a depression around the wick.
Before relighting the candle, wait for the wax to harden.
Use a candle snuffer to avoid smoke.
Regularly trim the wick with special scissors (ideal length is 3 to 5 mm) to prevent the candle from smoking or the wick from falling into the wax.
If the wick is not properly centered, gently center it while the wax is still melting.
Do not leave the candle unattended and do not burn it for longer than four hours after the first use.
Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.

About the brand

It all starts with love - this thought is the guiding principle of the French brand, which owes its name to Alfred d'Orsay. Fascinated by perfumes, he created a special space in his home for a fragrance cabinet, where in 1830 he developed the first composition with his beloved in mind (with whom he had a forbidden romance - the scent was a form of invisible bond, something that helped survive the separation).

In 2019, the company was taken over (and thoroughly refreshed) by Amélie Huynh - an ambitious entrepreneur who was captivated by the love stories behind the creation of D'Orsay. Although the visual identity has clearly changed, the bottles have been rejuvenated, and new compositions are created from scratch, feelings still serve as the starting point for all actions taken by the brand - each fragrance tells a different stage of love. After all, a fiery romance smells different than longing, and even more different is the euphoria that accompanies falling in love.
