The founder of the brand, Nick Steward, says: "I wanted to capture the mood of romance, adventure, noble simplicity, which I first read about as a student of Arabic in Wilfred Thesinger's 'Arabian Sands'. That was the first time I encountered the Emirates and Abu Dhabi. The light of the sunset, the sand filling the horizon, the shimmering dunes and the warm wind from the Ar-Rab al-Chali desert, known as the 'empty quarter'.
"I wanted to evoke the association with a journey through the dunes in minimalist sepia tones. There is a dose of nostalgia in this composition, a neo-vintage element. I was looking for an emotional echo of perfumes that defined the era of the late 80s and early 90s - Bel Ami and Fahrenheit. Composed by the legendary Jean-Louis Sieuzac, father of Lucas."
Sensual, dry and spicy Abu Dhabi perfumes open with notes of cypress, pink pepper, peppermint, rosemary and cistus.
The heart of the perfume is composed of sage, nutmeg, saffron, geranium and iris. The base notes, reminiscent of the desert wind, are created with cedarwood, patchouli, leather and musk.
London-based perfumery founded by Nick Steward and collaborating with perfumers from Venice and Paris. The main theme of the collection is traveling to cities around the world. Gallivant creates aromatic, almost tangible images of these places, allowing you to feel the mood that accompanies embarking on a journey, discovering new things, and immersing yourself in a colorful crowd. The scents are modern and very energetic. This collection not only conveys the emotions of traveling, but also aims to be very practical, which is why it is available in 30ml travel bottles that can easily fit in any luggage.
