Description
The formula based on rose water is suitable for all skin types thanks to the presence of gentle plant-derived surfactants. Ideal for cleansing and removing makeup from the eyes and face. Rinse off with warm water.
Ingredients
Rose water - known for its soothing and calming effects. It also has refreshing and astringent properties.
Sodium cocoyl glutamate & disodium cocoyl glutamate - surfactants (surface-active agents) of plant origin (glutamates) well tolerated by the skin, ideal for gentle cosmetics.
Method of use
We recommend using the application combined with a gentle massage, followed by rinsing with warm water.
About the brand Santa Maria Novella
Florence is home to one of the oldest pharmacies in the world - Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, which dates back to the 13th century. Famous scents and skincare products have been created for centuries from a blend of flowers and herbs collected from the hills of Tuscany, maturing in old terracotta jars. Among the compositions still produced today according to Dominican formulas are Acqua di Colonia (Catherine de' Medici's favorite scent), created in the 17th century Acqua di Santa Maria Novella, and Acqua di Rose - an excellent refreshing tonic, sold since the second half of the 14th century, as well as hand-shaped and packaged soaps, which mature for 60 days in ventilated cabinets.
