Tracing the map with a finger (and nose)

An olfactory journey through Italy in the footsteps of the co-founder of the brand Eau d’Italie, from south to north and back, always towards the sun.

14 • 08 • 2023

One of the reasons we love scent(s) is the ability to teleport: to places already known, deeply embedded in the body's memory, or to those we are only just imagining. And so with the fragrances of Eau d’Italie we travel across Italy, from south to north and back, and the guide of this journey is Sebastián Alvarez Murena, co-creator of the brand. We couldn't have dreamed of anyone better (and neither could you!).

First stop: Positano, Eau d’Italie.

Second stop: Sicily, Jardin du Poete.

Third stop: Florence, Jasmine Leather.

Fourth Stop: Capri, Un bateau pour Capri.

Fifth stop: Positano, Mystic Sunset.

Film production: Michał Sierakowski.

Behind every (beautiful) concept stands a person. Usually an extraordinary, inspiring one, someone you'd want to swap lives with, even if only for a moment. As part of #GALILUTALKS we'll regularly introduce you to the profiles of such people — people connected to the industry (and to Galilu).

In an anniversary interview, Agnieszka Łukasik talks with Ania Parniewicz about early enthusiasms, courage, relationships, and stories that we won't find in any company archive.

    A moment worth remembering

This year both Galilu and Byredo are celebrating their 20th anniversaries. For two decades both stories have developed in parallel. It's hard to imagine a better moment to unveil Future Memories — a fragrance whose very name speaks of what stays with us for a long time.
