Freshly crushed leaves of Thai basil with an intense aroma combine with refreshing notes of Nepalese pepper absolute. This intriguing mix contrasts perfectly with the bold woody note of the perfume. The green, earthy scent of Haitian vetiver oil harmonizes with the exclusive Georgywood - a molecule with a strong cedarwood scent. The woody notes of the perfume gain strength thanks to the floral notes in the form of noble petals. But what truly sets this fragrance apart is Akigalawood - a precious natural ingredient obtained from patchouli through biotechnological processes. Its unique spicy-woody character is enhanced by the addition of Indonesian patchouli oil and a strong and long-lasting note of Ambrofix.
Quentin Bisch: "I created these perfumes based on the extraordinary ingredient that is Akigalawood. With the addition of fresh spices, a wonderful woody scent was born, based on the contrast between patchouli and Thai basil."

About the brand Essential Parfums
The brand is a pioneer of the so-called conscious perfumery, which prioritizes the protection of natural resources, caring for the environment, and fair cooperation with local communities in sourcing perfume ingredients instead of marketing on the podium.
"Our priority is the scent itself, not its packaging (decorative bottles, advertising costs, and licensing fees, which often create confusion in the world of perfumes). When it comes to ingredients, simplicity is the highest level of sophistication, which is why we focus on a precious handful of natural substances, avoiding the cacophony of their synthetic substitutes. The scent should speak for itself" - declare the owners.
We would like to add that these are natural compositions, full of light, rather light and uncomplicated, but definitely classy.

Reviews of Bois Imperial
What I wanted was a perfume that would contain a well-known ingredient and use other raw materials to create an accord in which none of them would be detected. The goal was to achieve a completely different perspective on this key ingredient. And that's exactly what was achieved with sandalwood in Essential Parfums Bois Imperial.
