Cire is the olfactory representation of our workshop: it is a candle-symbol that combines the scent of warm wax and a fragrance composition developed by the brand's perfumers. It is also a new interpretation of Trudon's core values: the experience passed down from generation to generation and the pursuit of perfection. The vessel, made of amber-colored glass, contains the scent of pure beeswax absolute. Bees and beeswax have always been crucial to our workshop: since the 17th century, Trudon's motto has been "Deo regique laborant", which means "They (bees) work for God and the king". The year 2019 was particularly important for the brand, as Trudon decided to financially support the Orne Dark Bee Conservatory project in collaboration with the Perche Regional Park (Normandy). 4% of the profits from the sale of Cire candles will be used to save Central European bees in the Orne region.

About the brand Trudon
A French family company from Normandy, producing candles since 1643. They supplied them to the French royal court and the most important churches in France. Marie Antoinette was a loyal customer of the company, and Napoleon gave his son a candle adorned with gold medallions with his likeness on the day of his birth...
In 2006, the forgotten company was taken over by Ramdane Touhami, a brilliant artist, entrepreneur, and creative director, and turned it into an undoubtedly cult brand. Their offer includes classic perfumes, home fragrances, accessories, and the most popular candles - made from natural waxes, placed in handcrafted glass vessels with a characteristic gold or silver emblem, with complex, elaborate, and long-lasting scents. Scents that linger long after they have been extinguished.
Reviews about Cire
This candle is meant to be a symbol of the company - combining the scent of beeswax and perfume. The wax is saturated with a unique fragrance composition, and then hand-poured into a dark amber glass container. The candle smells of honey and beeswax, reflecting the brand's symbol - the beehive.
