Description

Perfect pleasure, elixir of longevity, magical scent, Aqua Admirabilis - this is how cologne water was described in the Middle Ages, before the name derived from the city of Cologne became widely used. Françoise Caron and Christophe Raynaud, esteemed perfumers, create cologne waters strictly following traditional requirements. The recipe is as follows: low alcohol concentration, refreshing breeze of freshness dominated by citrus notes, and a subtle trace of scent. This product can be confidently used in the morning and evening, without getting bored yourself or others.

The bottle releases a charming scent that quickly fills the room: from the past emerges an image of laundry drying on a line in the garden near the studio of the painter Balthus, in the Grand Chalet, high in the Swiss Alps. A tribute to the artist and his favorite scent, which can now be enjoyed thanks to this wonderful cologne water: a composition of milk, honey, and lemon. The whole is complemented by a delicate trace of light wood and vanilla.

Contains essences of linden flowers, mimosa, green leaves, bergamot, heliotrope, sandalwood, and musk. Cologne water designed by Françoise Caron and the team of perfumers from the house of Takasago.

About the brand Astier de Villatte

Brand with a crafty touch. Its founders, Ivan Pericoli and Benoît Astier de Villatte, produce ceramics using traditional 19th century methods - making each piece timeless and unique. But ceramics are not the end! In 2008, the pair invited renowned "noses": Emilie Mazeaud and Françoise Carona (a star from the Japanese perfume house Takasago) to collaborate. This resulted in a line of colognes, incense, and scented candles. The candles deserve special recognition - each wick (made of pure cotton) is tailored to the specific composition, while the glass vessels, decorated with small air bubbles, are made in an old-fashioned workshop in Tuscany. The labels and cardboard packaging are printed by one of the last typesetters in France - Monsieur Huin.
