The ingredient was created in California for Firmenich. It is environmentally friendly and sustainable - derived from the fermentation of sugar cane. Blurring the lines between natural and man-made ingredients, the pioneering molecule Clearwood® brings perfumery into a new century.
SCENT: Sophisticated wood
The holy_wood fragrance is a nostalgic tribute to 1970s California, which references both the awakening of spirituality and the New Age movement, as well as the explosion of filmmaking in the form of New Hollywood. Technological innovations allowed young directors, such as Scorsese and Altman, to reinvent American cinema. Perfumer Frank Voelkl also uses innovative materials to create luminous, modern versions of the decade's signature accord: rose and patchouli. The latter, freed from its earthy aspect, is resurrected as Clearwood®. Rose Petal Nature Print®, a fleeting reflection of the scent of flowers, breathes life into the classic note, shimmering with sparkling pink SFE pepper. A pair of floral lovers, Bulgarian rose and jasmine sambac, add the charm of the golden age of Hollywood to the compact composition, enveloped in mystical sandalwood and luxurious suede. This is a fragrance that will transport you to the other side of the mirror.
