The product's formula is based on plant ingredients: it contains sea buckthorn (antioxidant), rosemary leaf (soothing), and sugar cane (cleansing). The product does not contain parabens, phthalates, or artificial dyes. Available in a 250 ml bottle, which is easy to squeeze.
The scent composition is created by verbena, a plant-based substitute for aromatic citrus notes, which highlights the various aspects of the basil scent.

Le Labo is a rebellion in the world of perfumery - partly thanks to breakthrough scent concepts, and partly due to its uncompromising philosophy. Fabrice Penot and Edouard Roschi, co-founders, deliberately do not strive for a mythical ideal: "We are inspired by what fascinates us in other areas of life - diverse aesthetic approaches, philosophies, and objects and products. We are strongly influenced by the philosophy of wabi-sabi, which is about finding beauty in constant change and perfection in imperfection."
