Ustaw świecę Diptyque na równej, odpornej na ciepło powierzchni, z dala od przeciągów, materiałów łatwopalnych, dzieci i zwierząt. Drewno i marmur zabezpiecz podstawką lub tacą. Między świecami zachowaj co najmniej 10 cm odstępu.

Zapal knot zapałką. Za pierwszym razem pozwól, by wosk roztopił się równomiernie na całej powierzchni, co zależnie od zapachu zajmuje około 4 godzin. Dzięki temu świeca będzie wypalać się równo, bez tworzenia tunelu. Przy zapalaniu knot może przez chwilę lekko dymić. Podczas kolejnych użyć nie pal świecy dłużej niż 4 godziny i nigdy nie pozostawiaj jej bez nadzoru.
