Traditional notes of oakmoss, tonka bean, and lavender are skillfully stitched together with woody, ozone, and metallic accords, as well as leather, violet leaf, honey, and spices, creating a perfect illusion of a tailor's workshop. A modern thread running through Sartorial is beeswax, which evokes the blocks of wax through which every thread is pulled before sewing. This sweet waxy note combines more traditional elements; the sheen of oiled fabric scissors, the rubbing of fabric between fingers, tobacco-soaked furniture, clouds of chalk in the air, and aged paper patterns.

Penhaligon's exquisite fragrances are made in England using the most refined and rare ingredients; from hand-pressed bergamot to jasmine, which is twice as expensive as gold. The distinctive bottle of Penhaligon's perfumes is an original design by William Penhaligon: transparent glass with a distinctive ribbon-wrapped neck.

Each of the scents tells a different, captivating story - whether it's the first Hammam Bouquet from 1872 or the recently created Elixir. It is worth noting that currently, two perfumers belonging to the elite of perfumery - Olivia Giacobetti and Bertrand Duchaufour - are creating for Penhaligon's. The latter became famous for his signature reinterpretation of the Anthology Collection, available in Poland exclusively at Galilu. This line is an extremely successful attempt to recreate discontinued compositions, and each of its products is a masterful display of the creator.
