I wanted to capture the beauty of that moment when one feels as if they are floating in the air, between the sea and the starry sky. This scent is true poetry. I dedicated it to the last night star from Cesare Pavese's poem "You Always Return in the Morning".
The main note of Sideris is cistus, a typically Mediterranean essence. Together with myrrh, they create an aroma reminiscent of wild rose.
Noble types of wood accentuate the scent of aromatic herbs, while benzoin adds richness to the base notes.
Maria Candida graduated from the prestigious perfumery school in Grasse. She is close to the philosophy of slow factory, and uses only the best natural ingredients in her compositions, often sourced from small, organic farms. She creates honest, "personal" scents, in contrast to the mainstream. Each one tells a different story.
"My first memory is related to roses from my family's garden. When they were in bloom, I would gather the petals and make my own rose water, which I would then pour into bottles and give to my family. As I grew up, it became clear to me that creating perfumes is the passion of my life. I believe that a good scent is one that works well for the person wearing it. This effect can only be achieved with natural essences that speak to our body and mind, and that we instinctively love," she says.
