Description

Exactly 380 years ago, Trudon began producing candles. On the occasion of this round anniversary, the company returns to the past. This is how the new collection named Tuileries was created. The new scent, which you can experience thanks to candles in two sizes and a diffuser, is a look back at French tradition and countless stories associated with it.

The inspiration for the creation of the Tuileries collection is a unique document kept in the French National Archives - Gazette des Atours de la Reine. It looks like an ordinary notebook, but it was in this notebook that Countess Geneviève d'Ossun, a court lady and first lady-in-waiting to Marie Antoinette, collected numerous fabric samples used for sewing royal garments.

About the brand Trudon

A French family company from Normandy, producing candles since 1643. They supplied them to the French royal court and the most important churches in France. Marie Antoinette was a loyal customer of the company, and Napoleon gave his son a candle adorned with gold medallions with his likeness on the day of his birth...

In 2006, the forgotten company was taken over by Ramdane Touhami, a brilliant artist, entrepreneur, and creative director, and turned it into an undoubtedly cult brand. Their offer includes classic perfumes, home fragrances, accessories, and the most popular candles - made from natural waxes, placed in handcrafted glass vessels with a characteristic gold or silver emblem, with complex, elaborate, and long-lasting scents. Scents that linger long after they have been extinguished.

Our scent was created as a tribute to the rose, which was Marie Antoinette's favorite flower throughout her life.
