The Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella introduced the Alba di Seoul cologne in 2012, in honor of the city of Seoul. First, we feel the freshness of green top notes, then we move on to the distinct Korean pine, which leads us to a woody-oriental base. The packaging is adorned with a photo by Bae Bien-U, a well-known Korean photographer, depicting a coniferous forest, which perfectly highlights the character of Alba di Seoul. It is a vision of silence and tranquility, a state beyond time and space, mysterious, evoking thoughts of eternity.
"When I walk through a pine forest, I am fascinated by the beauty of these trees. For me, they are the body and blood of the Korean Peninsula," says the artist.

About the brand Santa Maria Novella
Florence is home to one of the oldest pharmacies in the world - Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, which dates back to the 13th century. Famous scents and skincare products have been created for centuries from a blend of flowers and herbs collected from the hills of Tuscany, maturing in old terracotta jars. Among the compositions still produced today according to Dominican formulas are Acqua di Colonia (Catherine de' Medici's favorite scent), created in the 17th century Acqua di Santa Maria Novella, and Acqua di Rose - an excellent refreshing tonic, sold since the second half of the 14th century, as well as hand-shaped and packaged soaps, which mature for 60 days in ventilated cabinets.
All products are made exclusively in Florence, based on medicinal plants and herbs grown in the same way as in the Middle Ages.

Reviews of Alba di Seoul
Cologne water created in honor of the city of Seoul. Fresh, green top notes lead us to the heart of intensely scented Korean pine, and then to woody-oriental base notes.
