Peyote, a cactus from Mexico with pink flowers, is known for its hallucinogenic effects and has become a symbol of the psychedelic era. Juniper berries and cloves give the composition a spicy character. Another distinctive ingredient is tonka bean. The base is made up of notes of patchouli, vanilla, and black amber.
Each Byredo candle has a unique scent, created for the home. The candles are handcrafted in France using cotton wicks, and the bottles are made from blown glass.

About the brand Byredo
Stockholm-based perfumery house, founded in 2006. Behind the global success and all the brand's creations stands founder and artistic director Ben Gorham. His multicultural background, bridging Canada, India and Sweden, is reflected in the unique character of Byredo perfumes.
"I am not a perfumer. I create a brief and show it to a professional scent creator. Images, film, poetry, music, words, objects, other scents - these are my inspirations... I have trained my nose. I had to learn a different language to communicate with perfumers, but over time I gained experience. From the very beginning, I have also been working with the same specialists. We understand each other perfectly" - says Gorham.
The brand also offers high-quality perfumed skincare products, as well as candles and home fragrances.
