One of the main goals of the Editions de Parfums collection is to honor the greatest perfumers of our time. Eau de Magnolia, the first fragrance by Carlos Benaim in our collection, is a wonderful example of achieving this intention. 

Our plan was simple: first, we used fresh notes to emphasize the transparent nature of the accord, then we added depth to the base notes, as our water needed a point of attachment and an element to help bind the scent to the skin.

The base element also strengthened the longevity of the fragrance and added sensuality to the composition, which is an extremely difficult task when working with completely clear notes.

As Carlos is well-versed in the tricks used by classical perfumers, he came up with the idea of adding a powerful dose of vetiver to this citrus accord. The combination of vetiver heart with grapefruit became the key to the whole composition, bringing it all together and adding the right tones to the magnolia scent.
