Eau Mohéli is another fragrance from the Floral Water collection. It pays tribute to the ylang-ylang flower and offers an extraordinary interpretation of exotic notes. Ylang-ylang petals have a narcotic scent that has already become a classic in perfumery.

However, ylang-ylang has never been the main note in a fragrance composition before. To balance it out, Olivier Pescheux chose fresh, green notes reminiscent of violet and blackcurrant leaf. He also added fresh spices, including pink pepper and balsamic accords of sun-warmed wood - patchouli, vetiver, benzoin, and tonka bean.

Diptyque always strives to discover new, beautiful materials. That is why they enthusiastically joined the sustainable growth project of Givaudan, which has been developing on the island of Mohéli for several years and aims to protect ylang-ylang. Eau Mohéli is meant to remind us of the island in the Indian Ocean and the role that ylang-ylang plays in preserving its nature.

About the brand Diptyque

The history began in 1961, when three friends - Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Gautrot and Yves Coueslant - opened a boutique on the Saint Germain boulevard in Paris. Initially, they sold fabrics, beautiful objects and souvenirs brought from exotic travels. In turn, in the bestselling Do Son, a hypnotic blend of tuberose and jasmine is joined by a vibrant sea accord.
