This extraordinary water from Florentine rose petals was created according to the original recipe, known since the time of Dante. It is famous for its antibacterial, cleansing and antioxidant properties, reduces puffiness under the eyes, protects the skin from harmful environmental factors and provides relief for tired, aching muscles during baths.
Rose water from Santa Maria Novella can also be used as a rinse. It leaves a wonderful, rose-scented laundry and has disinfecting properties. Simply add a capful of the liquid to the rinse cycle or a teaspoon to the water for ironing. You can also spray the laundry directly with undiluted water for a natural, fresh scent and antibacterial effect.
The product does not have a sprayer.

About the brand Santa Maria Novella
Florence is home to one of the oldest pharmacies in the world - Officina Profumo Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella, which dates back to the 13th century. Famous scents and skincare products have been created for centuries from a blend of flowers and herbs collected from the hills of Tuscany, maturing in old terracotta jars. Among the compositions still produced today according to Dominican formulas are Acqua di Colonia (Catherine de' Medici's favorite scent), created in the 17th century Acqua di Santa Maria Novella, and Acqua di Rose - an excellent refreshing tonic, sold since the second half of the 14th century, as well as hand-shaped and packaged soaps, which mature for 60 days in ventilated cabinets.
All products are made exclusively in Florence, based on medicinal plants and herbs grown in the same way as in the Middle Ages.

Reviews of Rose Water
In the 14th century, people used perfumed waters, which, according to Alice Tedeschi, the brand marketing director, have antiseptic properties. The waters created by Santa Maria Novella so long ago are still available under names such as Acqua di Rose, Acqua di Fior d’Arancio, and more.
