Do you remember the old Marlboro commercials? A man on a horse standing in front of a campfire on a desert plain, with the evening blue sky above them.
Defining the image of the American western spirit with all the subconscious ideas of masculinity and personal freedom. This man with the reflection of the dancing fire on his face, leaning against a worn leather saddle, alone with the desert wind, became such a strong icon that every man wanted to be him, and every woman wanted to be with him.
This memory evolved into SANTAL 33: the ambition to create a fragrance inspired by the great American myth, which still remains a source of dreams for the rest of the world. These are perfumes that touch the sensual universality of this icon, with an addictive effect on both women and men. The combination of cardamom, iris, violet, and ambroxan adds a spicy, leathery, and musky touch to this smoky woody scent (Australian sandalwood, papyrus, and cedarwood), giving the perfumes their unisex character and addictive comfort. In short, SANTAL 33 is a lively fire, a gentle waft of smoke, a moment just after dusk when sensuality takes control.

About the brand Le Labo
Le Labo is a rebellion in the world of perfumery - partly thanks to breakthrough scent concepts, and partly due to its uncompromising philosophy. The brand's manifesto proclaims that scents must have a soul, luxury lies in the art of craftsmanship, and they do not give their perfumes for free to celebrities. The creators of the brand obsessively respect the sources from which the ingredients of their perfumes come from and are uncompromisingly vegan. "It is scandalous that in the 21st century, the cosmetic industry, which is supposed to be a luxury and pleasure, is based on animal cruelty" - they proclaim.
Fabrice Penot and Edouard Roschi, co-founders, deliberately do not strive for a mythical ideal: "We are inspired by what fascinates us in other areas of life - diverse aesthetic approaches, philosophies, and objects and products. We are strongly influenced by the philosophy of wabi-sabi, which is about finding beauty in constant change and perfection in imperfection."
