As a child, Takashi Kobayashi dreamed of a treehouse. He became a self-taught carpenter and architect, and now builds treehouses in the forests of Japan. He creates structures that blend into the natural environment and reach towards the sky. The Tree House candle exudes the charm of these ephemeral architectural gems, with scents of cedar, bamboo, sandalwood, guaiac wood, and hay. Spicy notes and the scents of myrrh and labdanum shine against this backdrop. The more the candle releases its fragrance, the higher it seems to lift us...
Each Byredo candle has a unique scent, created for the home. The candles are handcrafted in France using cotton wicks, and the bottles are made from blown glass.

About the brand Byredo
Stockholm-based perfumery house, founded in 2006. Behind the global success and all the brand's creations stands founder and artistic director Ben Gorham. His multicultural background, bridging Canada, India and Sweden, is reflected in the unique character of Byredo perfumes.
"I am not a perfumer. I create a brief and show it to a professional scent creator. Images, film, poetry, music, words, objects, other scents - these are my inspirations... I have trained my nose. I had to learn a different language to communicate with perfumers, but over time I gained experience. From the very beginning, I have also been working with the same specialists. We understand each other perfectly" - says Gorham.
