Dynamic, earthy, woody - a humorous tribute to kōdō, the Japanese art of scent.
- I love traveling to Tokyo. I have been going there regularly for over 20 years and I am always fascinated by this place: the people, the cuisine, the style, the language, the refinement and attention to detail. With this scent, I want to evoke the special feeling that accompanies the sunrise in this city. The air is humid and there is a mist. Walking through the back streets with electric cables overhead, in surprising silence and tranquility, one can feel like they are in the countryside, among small, wooden houses. I also wanted to capture the flavors of local izakaya restaurants, with their fruits, spices, and wasabi, which pricks the tongue with a sweet and sour taste. Tokyo is also the earthy moisture of potted plants, kept outside the entrances of shrines and wooden temples. The refinement and spirituality of the kōdō ceremony, conducted in the smoke of incense and sandalwood. The grandeur and elegance in the glow of city neon lights.

Reviews of Tokyo
Tokyo brings to mind a cool Japanese morning, when the sun rises, ending the trajectory of the scent that started shining with neon lights at night in Shibuya, and ended with a hopeful dawn in Yoyogi Park.
