Colors can easily be replaced by scents. Green can be replaced by grass, pepper expresses black, and red is paprika. But capturing white is no easy feat. In Blanche, innovative aldehydes were used and combined with white rose. Surprisingly, the composition is not cold or frosty, but rather milky. The character of this scent carries a sense of all-encompassing security, and the violet woven into it adds an unprecedented depth. The essence of white has been captured.

About the brand

Stockholm-based perfumery house, founded in 2006. Behind the global success and all the brand's creations stands founder and artistic director Ben Gorham. His multicultural background, bridging Canada, India and Sweden, is reflected in the unique character of Byredo perfumes.

"I am not a perfumer. I create a brief and show it to a professional scent creator. Images, film, poetry, music, words, objects, other scents - these are my inspirations... I have trained my nose. I had to learn a different language to communicate with perfumers, but over time I gained experience. From the very beginning, I have also been working with the same specialists. We understand each other perfectly" - says Gorham.

The perfumer said that with this scent he tried to describe white. He was inspired by his wife Natasha, who gave birth to their daughter. Skillfully utilizing aldehydic and musky notes, he tried to show the pure, untainted nature of a baby. And I think he achieved his goal. In the process, he managed to capture something else in the scent, which may not have been his intention - carefreeness and innocence. Moments of silence and peace in solitude.

Jestem pod wrażeniem trwałości zapachu na mnie, córka mówi że ładnie pachnę po 8 h, gdy wracam z pracy. Długo zastanawiałam się nad zakupem ponieważ nie przepadam za różą a w tej kompozycji ją uwielbiam. Zapach bieli i świeżo upranej koszuli. Miałam Gypsy Water, Mohave Ghost natomiast Blanche zauroczył mnie najbardziej. Mój faworyt na wiosnę i lato na dzień.

Uwielbiam ten zapach. Zapach czystości i świeżości- fajny na lato. Kupiłam go dla siebie a używamy go razem z córką. Z kilku zapachów Byredo, które miałam ten jest zapachem, który mam już kolejny raz.
