About the brand Heeley
James Heeley, a lawyer by education, began his adventure with fragrances by creating the composition of Figuier - a perfectly thought-out interpretation of the scent of a fig tree. This perfume gave birth to a collection that combines two seemingly opposing features - timeless elegance and nature. When we smell the incense Cardinal, the essential Sel Marin or the clean and powdery Blanc Poudre, we feel admiration and fascination.
The creator of the brand personally takes care of both developing the formula of each fragrance and designing the packaging.
Opinions about Cardinal
These are some of my favorite incense perfumes. The incense accord in its heart is super realistic, but the aldehyde accord in the top part of the scent and vetiver and patchouli in the base provide a good dose of abstraction. If you love incense scents, you must try Cardinal.
Mark Behnke, Colognoisseur
This scent is full of churchy, incense-laden atmosphere with a touch of modern gothic. It evokes visions of cathedrals made of grey stone and slightly damp darkness shrouded in white linen. If you love these kinds of olfactory concepts, you will adore Cardinal. The warm, powdery labdanum and light smokiness make it an interesting choice for cooler months.
