Description

About the brand Maria Candida Gentile
Maria Candida graduated from the prestigious perfumery school in Grasse. She is close to the philosophy of slow factory, and uses only the best natural ingredients in her compositions, often sourced from small, organic farms. She creates honest, "personal" scents, in contrast to the mainstream. Each one tells a different story.
"My first memory is related to roses from my family's garden. When they were in bloom, I would gather the petals and make my own rose water, which I would then pour into bottles and give to my family. As I grew up, it became clear to me that creating perfumes is the passion of my life. I believe that a good scent is one that works well for the person wearing it. This effect can only be achieved with natural essences that speak to our body and mind, and that we instinctively love," she says.

Kitrea opens with sparkling notes of lemon and bergamot, which softly settle on a foundation of honey and beeswax. The balsamic hue provides an excellent starting point for Mrs. Gentile's aquatic base. As with Finesterre, the skillful combination with a marine accord gives Kitrea a finish scented with sea breeze. Kitrea is a successful blend of citrus and ocean enclosed in a slice of honey.
