Description
The representation of the sea scent is one of the most difficult tasks for a perfumer. Expressing the salty water, warm sand, cool breeze, and green aura of dunes is almost impossible to achieve. And once again, Heeley has shown that he can do the impossible. By combining the essence of seaweed with a touch of salt and light citrus notes, he has created something incredible, because Sel Marin truly smells like the sea. It smells like it at every stage and in every moment. In addition, the base of this composition has been constructed phenomenally, where green vetiver intertwines with a sharper note of birch wood.

About the brand Heeley

James Heeley, a lawyer by education, began his adventure with fragrances by creating the composition of Figuier - a perfectly thought-out interpretation of the scent of a fig tree. This perfume gave birth to a collection that combines two seemingly opposing features - timeless elegance and nature. When we smell the incense Cardinal, the essential Sel Marin or the clean and powdery Blanc Poudre, we feel admiration and fascination.

The creator of the brand personally takes care of both developing the formula of each fragrance and designing the packaging.

Experts on Sel Marin

We found the theme of our favorite summer scents: life by the sea. Sel Marin, which means "sea salt" in French, contains notes of bergamot, lemon, sea salt, seaweed, driftwood, and vetiver. Together, they embody the essence of sunbathing in Corsica or Sicily, even if you're by a lake in Iowa.
