This limited edition candle is a tribute to Vietnamese craftsmanship. Under the brand new lid made of woven rattan, all aspects of tuberose are hidden.

The intense, aromatic scent of this white Asian flower is released by the flame. The hand-woven cover protects the scents, while the vessel made of red lacquered glass evokes traditional craftsmanship.

In 1997, a group of Vietnamese artisans collaborated with foreign designers to produce lacquered sandals. The success was immediate... and thus Hanoia was born.

The company, offering traditional craftsmanship to the biggest European fashion and decoration brands, has become an ambassador for the unique character of Vietnamese techniques and materials - proudly using lacquer and rattan.

Now, Hanoia has utilized the experience of its artisans to create a woven wicker lid for the limited edition Tubéreuse (tuberose) candles. The traditional look of the lid pays homage to the history and culture that inspired these exceptional perfumes.

About the brand Diptyque

The history began in 1961, when three friends - Desmond Knox-Leet, Christiane Gautrot and Yves Coueslant - opened a boutique on the Saint Germain boulevard in Paris. Initially, they sold fabrics, beautiful objects and souvenirs brought from exotic travels.
