Since its opening in 1951, Positano's Hotel Le Sirenuse has been a favorite meeting place for the so-called la bella gente, the beautiful people, in a time when travel was a privilege of the chosen few. It was the beginning of the la dolce vita era, and Le Sirenuse on the Italian Amalfi coast was at the center of it all. Much has changed since then, but the beauty of Positano and the luxurious charm of Le Sirenuse remain. As we prepared for the 60th anniversary of the hotel, we had the opportunity to look through old photographs, tucked away in long-forgotten boxes, showing the joyful life of those years: dresses, jewels, hairstyles, and elegant summer parties in Positano.
These photos inspired us to create a scent in honor of Le Sirenuse's 60th anniversary: Eau de Parfum, which would evoke the image of a stylish woman from the 1950s and 1960s. Le Sirenuse was visited by the likes of Grace Kelly, Liz Taylor, and Jackie Kennedy: on a crisp summer morning, they would tie a silk scarf around their neck, put on fashionable sunglasses, and board a wooden Riva motorboat to go to Capri, Un bateau pour Capri.
In the old photographs, we found many beautiful women, more or less famous, but all enjoying life and femininity: strolling arm in arm with handsome men in tuxedos, scarlet lips, the scent of flowers and powder enveloping their skin…

About the brand Eau d'Italie
Fragrance collection - presented in various forms - inspired by the sun-drenched aromas of the Amalfi coast and the charm of the legendary hotel Le Sirenuse in Positano. In addition to the typically Mediterranean ingredients, the creators of the brand, Marina Sersale and Sebastián Alvarez Murena, have added another truly Italian one - la passione, which means passion.
Eau d'Italie fragrances often feature notes that we associate with Italy - bitter orange, angelica, marigold, cedar, and cypress. They evoke the scent of sun-warmed terracotta, sea breeze, love, tenderness, and the extraordinary history of two families.

Smells like hot teakwood or a piece of wood washed up by the sea on the beach - slightly warm to the touch with a hint of ozone from the forest. This note makes me feel like I'm on a boat wearing sunglasses. The base also contains cedar and musk, but it's the sunny wood that will make me use it over and over again.
